Caravita will host an Ecumenical Evening Prayer.
- Presider: The Most Rev. Michael E. Ptuney, Bishop of Townsville and Co-Chair of the Methodist-Roman Catholic Dialogue.
- Preacher: The Rt. Rev. Dr. N. T. Wright, Bishop of Durham
Ministry Training
We are planning three evenings in October for training sessions at Caravita, one for each of the services. The training sessions are for those already participating in these services as well as persons who would like to join the pool of ministers. We recognize that some of us fulfill at least two of the services, but we encourage you to come to the trainings for the service(s) you offer. The dates are:
- Monday, October 20 at 6:30 p.m.: Acolytes: Altar Servers and Thurifers – coordinator: Larry Litman
- Monday, October 27 at 6:30 p.m.: Lectors – coordinator: John Baptist Ormechea
- Tuesday, October 28 at 6:30 p.m.: Ministers of the Eucharist – coordinator: Margaret Phelan

Evensong at All Saints Anglican Church
The Caravita Community is invited to Solemn Festival Evensong on Saturday, 1 November 2008 at 6.00 PM. The Choir of Southwark Cathedral will provide the music and Bishop Pierre Whalon, the Bishop of the Convocation of the American Episcopal Churches in Europe will preach.
